Intuit MailChimp (2021–2022)
Shipped the first set of aggregate performance reporting tools for the leading email marketing platform. And, before that, refined tools to help users interact with early (pre-GPT) generative AI models.

Custom Reports
In Q4 of 2022, I worked with a product manager to rapidly prototype a new custom reports feature. In over a year of research, we found that while our marketing dashboard was great for looking at aggregate performance, our users wanted to be able to "query" their data to answer questions like "how many people opened my email?" or "how many people clicked on a link?". But, we also knew that they didn't want to have to learn SQL.
Prototype
Interactive prototype on CodePenIn order to validate our assumptions, we built a prototype and ran it by a few customers. Instead of using Figma to build the prototype, I used HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build a live and working app. It used the browser's local storage to save data, so the user was able to interact with the report builder, just like they would in the final product.
